Hiya to whoever is reading this,
Life gets so busy sometimes and it can get quite hard to fit in time to go to the gym, jog or workout. I should know, I’m so busy pretty much all of the time!
So, I thought I’d rank my brains for quick and easy things you can do to keep fit, even fi you are super busy and don’t have time for a proper workout!
Enjoy, and if these help you, please comment below! =)
1) Take the stairs
I know how tempting it is to just jump on the escalator on in the lift, but by choosing to take the stairs (or walk up the escalator), you can burn a minimum of 50 calories every 200 steps. It also helps you avoid the awkward 30 seconds of standing still, abnormally ascending/descending and being shoved up against complete strangers!
2) One stop earlier
If you get the bus or the train to work, why not get off a stop or 2 earlier and walk the remaining bit. If you feel up to it, why not power walk and burn a few extra calories? Not only will you be doing cardio but getting a bit of fresh air might help you to lear your mind and set you up for the day’s work.
3) Can you cycle?
Ebay or Gumtree are the perfect place to get a cheap but sturdy bike, so why not save up/invest in one and choose to cycle to work/school every day? Cycling is an awesome way to get around town and if you live in London, there is always the Barclays bike System. Cycling is a much better alternative than getting the car and it wakes you up for the day =)
4) If you insist on taking the car…
If you have to take the car and there is no other option of cycling or walking for you, then park in the furthest away slot in the car park, as it then means you have to walk a bit to get to your final destination.
5) Coffee break anyone?
If you’re going out to get coffee for your work colleagues, walk the long way. Not only will you get the longer break, but you’ll feel better for it too. Or if your workplace is near a park, eat your lunch whilst walking round the park and enjoy the fresh air.
Hope these helped you to make slightly healthier choices and squeeze a small bit of fitness into your jam-packed day!

My family has been there no car and walked everywhere. I walked with my dad to the pastry shop to get pizza and a soda. We would walk in the snow. good memories.

Walking lets you chat more with people, it’s more social than being in the car 😄

Good point I love chatting with people. I don’t get much talkers these days lol just people walking their dogs and the coffee shop.
